Privacy Policy
Effective 1 November 2026. Applies to the Bajada app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, published by Rupangkan Kalita (Kalita Ventures), an individual developer who is the controller of the data described here.
What stays on your device
Your matches, team names, scores, settings, XP, challenges and badges are stored only on your device, inside the app's own storage. We never receive them. Deleting the app deletes this data. You can also delete all matches from Settings in the app.
Usage events
The app sends short usage events to our own analytics service, Plumb (hosted on Vercel, data stored with Supabase). An event contains:
- What happened: for example "onboarding step completed", "paywall shown", "plan selected", "match started", "match finished", "language changed".
- Details of that action: the onboarding answer you picked (such as how often you play), the paywall placement and plan, the match format and scoring rule, the outcome (win, loss or draw), duration and number of points. Never team names or any text you type.
- A random ID created when the app is first opened, a session ID, and RevenueCat's anonymous customer ID (see below).
- App version, iOS version, device model, language and region setting.
- The country from your device's region setting (for example, "United Kingdom"). We do not determine or store your location, and we do not store your IP address.
We use these events only to understand how the app is used and to improve it: where people drop off in onboarding, whether the paywall is clear, which match formats are popular. We do not sell them, share them with advertisers, or combine them with data from other companies.
Purchases
Bajada Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment. We use RevenueCat to check whether Pro is active and to manage the subscription and free trial. RevenueCat receives the App Store transaction details for your purchases, an anonymous customer ID it creates for this install, your device's language and region, app and OS version, and your IP address. We do not receive your name, email, payment details or Apple ID. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat sends us purchase events (trial started, renewed, cancelled, refunded, with price and country) linked to the same anonymous customer ID, so we can see revenue next to the usage events above.
Apple Watch and Health
If you use the Apple Watch app and allow access to Health, starting a match starts a padel workout. Your heart rate and active energy are read during the match to show on your wrist, and the finished workout is saved to Apple Health. Health data stays in Apple Health on your devices and is never sent to us or to anyone else. Matches scored on the Watch are sent directly to your iPhone over Apple's WatchConnectivity.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules them locally on your device: one short reminder a day in the evening (skipped on days you already played, and switchable off in Settings), a reminder two days before a free trial ends, and reminders before a limited-time offer ends. They are created on your phone and are not sent through a server.
Third parties
RevenueCat (purchases) is the only third-party SDK in the app. There are no SDKs for advertising, attribution or crash reporting, and the app does not use Apple's advertising identifier.
Retention and your choices
Usage events are kept for up to two years and then deleted. Deleting the app resets the random ID, so new events can't be connected to old ones. To ask us to delete the usage events from your device, email us from the app's Settings > Contact support and we will find them by the date and device model you used.
Children
Bajada is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the usage events above contain no names, contact details or location.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
