How to keep padel score on Apple Watch, and which apps do it

Quick answer

To keep padel score on an Apple Watch you need a score app with a watch app. On the UK App Store on 3 November 2026, Padelio had the most ratings (223), Padel Watch asked for the oldest watchOS (8.5) and Padel Pointer needed watchOS 26. Bajada, our app, needs watchOS 11.

Padel on Apple Watch works through score apps: you tap the side that won the point and the watch keeps the count. We compared eight padel Apple Watch apps on what they need to run, whether your iPhone has to come on court and what they save to Health. We make one of them, Bajada, so read this as a maker's comparison. Every fact about the other seven comes from their UK App Store pages and Apple's public lookup data, checked on 3 November 2026.

Our comparison of the best padel score apps covers prices and free use. This one starts from the watch.

Can you keep padel score on an Apple Watch?

Yes. You install a padel score app that has a watch app, start a match on the watch and tap the side that won each point. The app does the counting: 15-30-40, deuce, games, sets and tie-breaks.

All eight apps below also record the match as exercise in some form, so the watch logs heart rate and calories while you play. Where they differ is in which watches they run on, how much they lean on the iPhone and what ends up in Apple Health.

Which padel Apple Watch apps did we compare?

When we checked the UK results for "padel apple watch" on 2 November 2026, Google's AI overview named PadelTick, Padel Watch and Padel Point. We added PADEL'EM and Padel Pointer from our first comparison, and Bajada. Then we searched the UK, Spanish and Italian App Stores for padel watch apps and added the two score apps with the most ratings that were not on the list yet: Padelio and PadelMax.

All eight are free to download. All eight list in-app purchases on their UK store page.

What does each app need to run on your watch?

App Store facts, checked 2026-11-03. The watchOS minimum comes from each app's UK store page; Apple's lookup data gives the iPhone minimum but not the watch one. Ratings are UK only, because every country's App Store keeps its own count.

The spread matters if your watch is a few years old. Padel Watch asks for the least, watchOS 8.5. Padel Pointer asks for the most: watchOS 26 on the watch and iOS 26 on the phone. Check which watchOS your watch runs before you pay for anything.

Do you need your iPhone on court?

Three store pages say you score without the phone. Padel Watch says "No phones, no arguments", PadelTick says "no phone required", and Padel Pointer tells you to leave your phone in your bag. PADEL'EM puts it the other way round: a smartwatch is required to track your stats while you play, and the phone app is for looking at them afterwards.

Padel Point, Padelio and PadelMax do not say either way on their store pages.

With Bajada the phone can stay in your bag. You score on the watch, and when you save the match it waits on the watch until your iPhone is in range, then lands in the iPhone history. You do need the iPhone app once at the start, because the watch gets your free matches or your Pro unlock from it.

Which apps save the match to Apple Health?

This table comes from each app's store description, apart from Bajada's row, which also uses our own app code. "Not mentioned" means the description does not say so; the app may still do it.

Which padel Apple Watch app has the most ratings?

Padelio, by a distance. It had 223 UK ratings on 3 November 2026, and it leads the Spanish (703) and Italian (623) stores too. In the UK, PadelTick comes next with 91, then PadelMax with 45.

Padelio is a different kind of app from most of the others. Its description leads with stroke analysis from the watch's sensors, and live scoring is one feature among several. If you only want a scoreboard on your wrist, the smaller score-first apps such as Padel Watch, PadelTick, Padel Point and Bajada do less, and that can be the point.

How do you score padel on Apple Watch with Bajada?

Here is the whole flow, with the words you will see on the screen.

  1. Install Bajada on your iPhone and open it once. On the iPhone and the watch its icon is labelled Padel Tracker.
  2. If the watch app does not appear on its own, Apple's instructions are: on your iPhone, open the Watch app, tap the My Watch tab, tap Apps, find the app in the Available Apps section and tap Install.
  3. Open Bajada on the watch and allow Health access when asked. It reads heart rate and active energy during a match and saves each saved match as a workout.
  4. Tap Quick Match to play with the rules you set in the iPhone app, or Customize Match to pick the match type, the deuce rule (Golden Point, Star Point or Advantage), sets, games per set and the third set. For an Americano, pick the total points, then tap Start.
  5. Tap the tile of the side that won the point. A ball marks the serving side, and Left or Right shows which side they serve from. On a watch with double tap, Apple describes the gesture as "Tap your index finger and thumb together twice"; in Bajada it scores a point for your side, Us.
  6. Swipe sideways to the controls page for the clock, heart rate, active calories, Undo, Pause and End match. End match only offers Discard match, so use it for a match you do not want to keep.
  7. When the last point is played, tap Save match. You get the result, time, average and maximum heart rate and active calories, marked Saved to Health, and the match goes to your iPhone history.

What can't Bajada do on the watch?

  • It needs watchOS 11 or later, so it will not install on watches that cannot run watchOS 11.
  • It does not share the score live with other players or spectators. PadelTick, Padelio and PadelMax do.
  • It does not track shots or distance. PADEL'EM tracks shots and errors, and Padelio recognises stroke types.
  • You buy Bajada Pro in the iPhone app, not on the watch. Your first 3 matches are free with every feature, then Pro is £19.99 once for Lifetime or £4.99 a month with a 1-week free trial (UK prices on 3 November 2026).
  • It is new, with no UK ratings yet, and it runs only on Apple devices.

How should you pick a padel Apple Watch app?

  1. Check your watchOS version first. It rules apps out faster than any feature list.
  2. Decide whether the phone comes on court. If not, pick an app that says it scores without it.
  3. If you want the workout in Apple Health, pick one that says so on its store page.
  4. Score one real match before you pay.

If Bajada fits, get Bajada on the App Store and play your first 3 matches free, on the watch or the phone. The Bajada home page shows the watch app, and the support page reaches the maker directly.
